A Gastronomical Adventure
as we walk down Jalan Alor, you’ll sure to see a repetiton of the food stalls. There would be a handful of “wan tan mee” stalls, grilled chicken wings, and other stuffs. I’m going to take you to the stall where they serve the best pork noodles. According to my resources, this is the original pork noodle stall along Jalan Alor, which has moved 2 shoplots down the road. An indeed it is a place satisfy your taste buds.
Be on a look out for this place:
The pork noodles here are similar to most of the stalls, it’s served with different kinds of noodles of your choice and is served with the different parts of the little “oink”. If you’re a person who fancies the pork stomach, intestines, liver and kidneys, well this is one dish you must try. But if you’re a person who only wants the pork meat, well you can also opt for that. But remember to let the “uncle” know.

The reason why i still prefer this little stall is due to it’s taste. It has a full on, very very yummy-licious soup base and thier meats are very very tender. A must try if you’re around the area.
to wash down the delicious pork noodle, i ordered a bowl of “Lin Chee Kang”. It’s known as a chinese dessert filled with gingko nuts, barley, quails egg and a some other items. Not to offend anyone, but i guess this sweet drink was not to my liking. I’m a fan of the “Lin Chee Kang” but the one here was a little to watery.
This place is not too hard to find… so keep a look out for this place.
